During October, Primi Piatti V&A Waterfront and the Cape Wheel are teaming up to offer the Golden Voucher, giving guests 50% off Cape Wheel tickets for up to four people.
The promotion is valid from 1 to 30 October 2026, with the Golden Voucher available at Primi Piatti. One voucher provides the 50% discount for up to four people, making it particularly handy for a small group heading out together.
- The idea is simple. Start with Italian favourites at Primi Piatti at the V&A Waterfront, then take the outing up a few levels with a ride on the Cape Wheel and its elevated views over the V&A Waterfront. The Cape Wheel is located on The Lawns, Breakwater Boulevard. From its new location, the observation wheel offers views towards landmarks including Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Robben Island and Cape Town Stadium.
That gives V&A Waterfront visitors the full month to combine time at Primi Piatti with a discounted Cape Wheel experience. The Cape Wheel’s current summer operating schedule is listed as 10h00 to 22h00 daily, weather dependent. For anyone planning a Cape Town outing with friends or family, the Golden Voucher adds a rather fun extra stop to the itinerary. A meal at Primi Piatti followed by a 50% discounted Cape Wheel ride for up to four people makes for a simple V&A Waterfront day out, with the added bonus of seeing the city from above.
