Vergenoegd Löw serves Father’s Day with farm-style Generosity at Geuwels Restaurant

Vergenoegd Löw is inviting families to slow down, gather around the table, and celebrate Father’s Day with a Sunday Harvest Brasserie Lunch at Geuwels Restaurant.

The menu is priced at R695 per person and brings together wood-fire cooking, slow braises, seasonal produce, and generous sharing-style comfort.

What’s on the Menu?

  • To begin, the table will be served a basket of mosbolletjie and roosterkoek with whipped beef tallow butter, cultured farm butter, and smoked onion salt, followed by farm charcuterie and pickles, smoked fish and potato croquettes, and a warm mushroom and Klein Karoo cheese tart.
  • For mains, guests can choose from slow-braised beef shin pie, heritage fried chicken wings, pan-roasted line fish, or a charred pumpkin and lentil brasserie plate. Family-style sides include crispy roast potatoes, buttered seasonal greens, charred broccoli, farm salad, and roosterkoek crumbs with smoked salt.
  • Dessert keeps things proudly nostalgic with a choice of milk tart choux bun or dark chocolate and spekboom brownie. For those wanting to spoil Dad even further, a dry-aged Dexter rib-eye upgrade is available for R175.

With good food, great wine, and the easy-going charm of Vergenoegd Löw, this is a Father’s Day lunch designed for lingering. Seats are limited and advance booking is essential via the Vergenoegd Löw website.
