A slightly chaotic Quiz Night at The Tiki Tomb with Bingo and Beats

The Tiki Tomb is giving its regular quiz night a playful remix with the Tiki Trivia: The Michael Special, landing on Thursday, 14 May.

Known for its offbeat energy, the venue leans into a slightly chaotic format this time, blending classic trivia with music bingo for a two-part evening that keeps things moving.

The night kicks off at 7PM with general knowledge trivia, layered with a few deep dives into all things Michael.

  • It is not just about knowing the obvious hits, guests can expect a mix of questions that reward both casual fans and those who take their pop knowledge a little more seriously. From there, the format shifts into music bingo. Instead of questions, players listen for tracks, mark their cards, and compete for prizes. It is a lighter, more interactive second half that keeps the energy up and the competition friendly.

There is plenty to keep things interesting throughout the night. Entry is free, which makes it an easy yes for groups, and there are bar tabs and prizes up for grabs along the way. For those who like to plan ahead, happy hour runs from 5 to 6PM with drinks at R60, making an early arrival a smart move, especially since tables tend to fill up quickly.

A fantastic special is also avaialble: Thursday Triple Threat combo, which includes cheesy nachos, a margarita, and a spiked soft serve for R180. It is a neat add-on for anyone looking to turn quiz night into a full evening out.

Tiki Trivia runs twice a month at The Tiki Tomb, often with changing music themes and the occasional format twist. This Michael edition leans into both nostalgia and fun, offering a quiz night that does not take itself too seriously, but still rewards those who know their stuff.
