Presented by Cape Wine Master Junel van der Merwe, this one-night-only dinner celebrates the bold, award-winning wines of Alvi’s Drift paired with a beautifully curated multi-course menu that’ll make your inner foodie swoon.
Here’s what’s being poured (and plated):
Kick off with a welcome glass of Alvi’s Drift Sparkling Brut Blanc de Blanc—the perfect way to warm up to an evening full of flavour and flair.
First Course:
Saldanha Bay oyster plate with pickled cucumber, sesame, radish salad and an oyster shepherd’s pie—served with Brut Cap Classique.
Second Course (choose your adventure):

Prawn Bisque with herb aioli and baguette, paired with Albertus Viljoen Chenin Blanc, or

Roast Quail with pumpkin and herb risotto, paired with Albertus Viljoen Chardonnay
Third Course:
A rich, hearty Oxtail Ragout with potato pavé and winter vegetables, matched with Albertus Viljoen Bismarck.
Dessert:
Baked Apple Tarte Tatin with basil ice cream and a glass of Alvi’s Drift Muscat Nectarina—sweet, smooth, and the perfect finale.
