It’s the time of the year, where upmarket restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.

This exclusive 40 seater restaurant offers a fusion of Italian & South African cuisine in a modern vernacular.

How to book?

This year, Idiom will be part of Restaurant Week (1 April – 2 May) serving a delicious 3-course Italian & South African fusion menu for only R395 pp.

Starter (choice of one)

  • Cucumber & Celery Salad: Grilled green beans, black garlic emulsion, nam-nam chutney, white balsamic dressing
  • Roasted Red Pepper Caponata: Aubergine polpette, pickled red onion, smoked goat cheese, parmesan

Main (choose one)

  • Pira Braaied Karoo Lamb Rump with Jerusalem artichoke risotto, roasted artichoke & chips, lemon zest
  • Abalobi Fish with a Story: Brodo, grilled zucchini, herenbone, confit cherry tomato, fennel

Dessert

  • Tiramisu Entremet: Vanilla sponge, coffee mascarpone mousse, white chocolate, Frangelico, compressed apple
