Nandos responds to SABC fire

A studio at the SABC burned down yesterday morning causing several million Rands worth of damage. Don’t worry though – all your favourite soapies are shot months in advance, so you can still catch the latest episodes of Isidingo every day.

As the SABC banned the latest Nando’s TV commercial, the fast-food company couldn’t resist to take a dig at the South African Broadcasting Corporation after this incident commenting on the banned ad as well as denying any involvement in starting the fire.

Pity you can’t ban them all. But just in case, we’d like to make it clear that we had nothing to do with this. We prefer igniting public debates, not studios. – Nando’s
