The V&A Waterfront People’s Choice nominations are now open, giving visitors the chance to recognise their favourite local spots while also going into the draw to win one of five R1,000 V&A Vouchers.
The nomination process is refreshingly simple.
- Instead of choosing just one favourite, participants can nominate a business in each of four People’s Choice categories, giving shoppers, diners and visitors the opportunity to support a range of businesses across the neighbourhood.
The four categories are Favourite Retail Store, Favourite Eatery, Favourite Attraction and Favourite Small Business. From a go-to shop and a much-loved place to eat to a memorable attraction or an independent business worth shouting about, the nominations are all about celebrating the places that make the V&A Waterfront special.
How do the V&A Waterfront People’s Choice nominations work?
To enter, participants need to nominate one business in each of the four categories and then submit their nominations. Nominations opened on 9 September 2026 and close on 16 September 2026, so there is only a short window to get those favourites onto the list.
