Cafe Caprice Introduces World Class Burger Pairing

In celebration of the Café Caprice bartenders contributions made to the recent World Class Competition- an industry competition to discover the world’s finest cocktails, made by the world’s best bartenders, Café Caprice challenged their competiting bartenders to produce the finest cocktail to pairing to a burger of their choice.

Café Caprice cocktail and bar enthusiasts: Tristan, Toby, Josh and Fez each selected their choice of base spirit to inspire a story that would bring together a truly unique winter World Class wonder.

Toby’s “Gelato” pairing resonates with our fondest childhood memories; the pure enjoyment found from sipping a can of condensed milk to the decadent lust for full cream milkshakes made warm by the malted nuts and honey from the infusion of 23 year old Ron Zacapa Rum that truly makes this a winter favourite.

Josh was inspired by traditional Fridays night shared with family, friends and red wine, “Le Chaim” to life with this red wine and Ketel One Vodka cocktail garnished with toasted caramelised apple best enjoyed with a hot beef patty and dreamy mushroom burger.

Tristan tells a story of warm hearted winters shared with friends and his personal favourite Bulleit Bourbon enjoyed with the Old School Burger whilst Fez invites memories from the winter holidays where memories of road trips through the citrus valley, escape to Café Caprice this winter to indulge in a winter memory of your own.

Cape Town winter is best enjoyed over hearty foods, the collective laughter from friends and cocktails to warm up your winter days. – Kim Grey, Cafe Caprice marketing manager.

The World Class Burger Pairing will be available every Monday – Thursday until the awakening of spring in September this year.
