Brandy & Blues at Backsberg

Heat things up with Backsberg Estate Cellars this winter and join for a night of Brandy and Blues!

Situated in Backsberg’s Historic Vat Cellar, a piece of South African wine history in its own right, the atmosphere will be intimate and the sounds electric. Guests can expect to enjoy live entertainment by two of South Africa’s most formidable blues artists, Piet Botha and Jake Gunn, a glass of Sydney Back Brandy or glühwein on arrival, and a two course meal consisting of slow-roasted lamb shank and decadent Sydney Back Brandy pudding. Backsberg’s award-winning wines will also be available for sale on the evening.

Tickets are R300 per person inclusive of an arrival drink, a 2-course dinner and entertainment.

Guests are asked to be at the Vat Cellar by 18:30, with Valiant’s first set commencing at 19:00. Dinner will be served at 19:45 during the first intermission and the event should conclude by 21:30.
