  • The Bakery’s winter picnics are launching on the 1st of May and will run until the 30th of August 2021. Each basket is R500, feeding two people, and includes a bottle of Chameleon wine of your choice.

Your basket will include freshly baked, wood-fired vegetable focaccia, mini brioche, and a famous Cape seed loaf to be enjoyed with a selection of locally sourced charcuterie including Ryan Boon biltong as well as a selection of hard and soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie, Stanford, and Boerenkaas.

This will be accompanied by a homemade Thai chicken pâté, apple chutney, smoked Snoek pâté, and savoury whipped butter. You will also receive a sumptuous quiche Lorraine with bacon and leeks, per person and then finish your meal on a sweet note with the Chef’s patisserie of the day.

Are your kids joining?

Book them each a yummy kiddies picnic for R125.00! Their basket will include is a petit beef sausage rolls, a mini margarita pizza, a packet of crisps, and a juice box. Then satisfy their sweet tooth with a giant cookie!

They can enjoy their own basket, whilst running on the lawns and playing with their bubbles, which are included as a gift in the basket. Purchase this kiddies basket, during the booking process.

Picnics are weather permitting.

The Bakery team will contact all guests 24 hours in advance if the weather predicts rain for the next day. Guests will be given the following choices:

  • Move picnic to new date
  • Have basket on original date at the table inside of the Bakery
  • Change booking to à la carte to the value of R500
