Valentines Day at The Orphanage

On Thursday, the 14th February 2013, Orphanage Cocktail Emporium in Cape Town will host a ‘rude food’ night for Valentine’s Day. The sophisticated shake-house, which specialises in unusual cocktails, have a very cheeky menu planned that offers a delicious, but very graphic rendition of saucy body-parts.  There will be plenty to blush about on this naughty night and caution is ‘advised for those with delicate sensibilities’.

The final menu for the (extremely) rude valentine’s supper is a surprise and will only be revealed on the night to attending guests.

The daring dinner will be hosted in the newly opened Dining Room, where each table is set with utmost style and detail, and the long leather-topped bar, decked out with brass, crystal and the Orphanage Cocktail Emporium’s signature key, will be serving delicious libations, cocktails and potions with a special ‘Love-potion’ devised for the night.

Whether you’re for St Valentine or not, this will be a celebration far removed from tacky red roses and teddy-bears, instead expect dashing lords and ladies, much laughter (and some tears) dining on excellent food that’s naughty as well as nice.  Resident DJ’s will be spinning some toe-tapping tunes and dancing is encouraged once dinner plates have been cleared.

The Serendipitous Supper Club Soirée is a weekly Thursday event at Orphanage and the Saucy version happens every six months, in February and August each year.  Not suitable for those with low libidos.
