Every year Dad insists he does not need anything for Father’s Day. Every year, everyone knows that is probably not true.
This Father’s Day, The Book Club Restaurant is skipping the novelty gifts and focusing on something far more reliable: a proper feast shared around the table with family, good conversation, and plenty of food.
Taking place on Sunday, 21 June from 12pm, the Father’s Day Feast is designed for sharing, making it ideal for families looking to celebrate together without anyone having to cook, clean, or argue about who is doing the dishes afterwards.
- Priced at R495 per person, the feast begins with three shared starters before moving on to two shared mains featuring both meat and fish. The experience continues with three delicious sides and finishes on a sweet note with two shared desserts. A dedicated kiddies menu is also available, ensuring younger guests are well looked after while the grown-ups focus on the feast.
The atmosphere at The Book Club has always centred around bringing people together, making it a fitting setting for a Father’s Day celebration built around family, generosity, and relaxed dining. For anyone still wondering what to get Dad this year, The Book Club may have the answer. After all, a memorable meal usually lasts longer than another pair of socks.
