Take an Irish Culinary Journey at The President Hotel

Celebrating great friends, food, and good o’ Irish spirit, the President Hotel will host a traditional Irish feast this St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday 17 March.

The hotel’s new Executive Chef, Philip Alcock, promises to deliver guests with a truly authentic culinary experience for this joyous holiday.

While soaking up the Atlantic breeze from the hotel’s new deck bar, and enjoying the tunes of a live band, guests can indulge in local grub such as Boxty and oysters or “poor house bread” with pickled cucumber and deep fried oysters, a traditional Dublin Coddle with a twist, sweetened with an Irish Brack – a moist fruitcake served with whiskey ice-cream. To wash it all down, Green Beer will be served on tap, with Happy Hour running from 17:00 – 18:00, and a leprechaun will be handing out green themed shots for those warming up for night bash.

Entertainment and St. Patrick’s Day menu are offered from 18:00 – 21:00 at R195 per person.
