Harringtons Cocktail Lounge is proud to announce its second wine partner for its Supper & Tastings events: Lomond Cape Agulhas Wines.
The evenings will be hosted by Gianni Lozzi, who will showcase the complex and characterful wines that are a true expression of the unique climate, soils, and aspect of Cape Agulhas.
Situated at the southernmost tip of Africa, the Lomond Cape Agulhas farm is home to a wide range of endangered flora, including Elim Ferricrete fynbos, which is considered critically endangered. Conservation of this unique ecosystem is at the heart of the farm’s farming practices, and Lomond has been a member of the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy since 2005.

The Wednesday Dinners for February will feature a range of carefully selected wines from Lomond, including the Mcc Brut made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the Merlot Rose, the Sauvignon Blanc, the Belladonna (made from Syrah, Mourvedre, and Viognier), and the Estate Syrah. Additionally, there will be special ad hoc wines featured each evening.
For just R250, guests can enjoy a three-course wine evening, complete with an aperitivo glass of wine on arrival, a main meal, a glass of wine of your choice from Lomond Agulhas wines, and a petit four dessert at Harringtons. The Supper & Tastings event offers both a full dinner option and a tapas and tastings option, so guests can choose the experience that best suits their preferences.
Those who are looking for a more casual afterwork experience can simply stop by for a wine tasting for just R70. Harringtons Cocktail Lounge is open from 4pm, with happy hours taking place from 4-6pm and tapas at half price during this time.
