Thinking back to my childhood, Spur has been a constant companion from the birthday party of my best friend from school, to the Monday special that always offered the best value for your buck as well as the family dinners that would go on forever – there was never a time where Spur hasn’t been FUN to visit!
As you grow up, these visits become less frequent and I must admit that I haven’t been to a Spur Ranch for a very long time. But when I saw the latest Cheddamelt promotion, all these memories suddenly rushed back and I just had to go check it out.

The chicken schnitzel as well as the steak were wonderful. The steak was topped generously with the famous cheddamelt as well as a creamy mushroom sauce – a combination that is just pure deliciousness. The steak itself was perfectly cooked with a pink and soft centre. It was absolutely exquisite and the quality of the meat can be tasted with every bite. The same goes for the chicken schnitzel – tender, juicy and incredibly delicious. For R99.90, both of these dishes offer fantastic value for money with the taste and quality on par with the best out there!
