Every last Friday of the month (25 August), La Petite Ferme hosts an extraordinary five-course dinner, meticulously crafted by their talented chefs where one ingredient is always the star of the entire evening. 

At La Petite Ferme, the culinary team strives to deliver an exceptional dining experience using fresh local produce, curated flavours, and fresh clippings from our garden to create a delicious menu for all guests to enjoy. The motivation behind each wonderful dish stems from the origins of La Petite Ferme – country cuisine with a fresh contemporary touch. All this enjoyed with a glass of wine from the Estate, the great company and conversation shared at the table and friendly service makes for a relaxing, blissful experience.

  1. Mushroom & Feta Sourdough with Peppadew Tapenade: A savory bread option infused with mushrooms and feta, served with a flavorful peppadew tapenade.
  2. Mushroom Arancini with Pea Puree & Truffle-Infused Forest Mushroom: Deep-fried mushroom arancini balls accompanied by pea puree and forest mushrooms infused with truffle, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Paired with La Petite Ferme Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2022.
  3. Mushroom Curry with Toasted Almond Flakes & Naan Bread: A rich and aromatic curry featuring brown mushrooms and aubergine, topped with toasted almond flakes and served with naan bread. Paired with La Petite Ferme Viognier 2021.
  4. Sorbet Mushroom & Guava: A unique palate cleanser offering the refreshing combination of mushroom and guava flavors.
  5. Beef Wellington with Chargrilled Baby Carrots, Mushroom Ragout & Mushroom Jus: A classic beef wellington dish complemented by chargrilled baby carrots, a mushroom ragout, and a rich mushroom jus. Paired with La Petite Ferme Verdict 2018, a Bordeaux-style blend.
  6. Mushroom Cheesecake with Beetroot Gel & Thyme Tuile: A creative twist on dessert featuring a mushroom-infused cheesecake, enhanced with beetroot gel, and accompanied by a delicate thyme tuile. Paired with La Petite Ferme Variation 2018, a Rhone-style blend.

The cost per head for the Themed Evening, including the five-course dinner with wine pairing, is R1,450.
