The Jordan Restaurant Drive has just wrapped up its second year with the 2021 drive being described as nothing short of a triumph!
With the help of our fellow restaurant-loving South Africans, Jordan Wine Estate has managed to raise over R2.8 million to help participating restaurants across South Africa!
The money collected for the restaurants has already been transferred to the relevant establishments. These funds will make a huge different to the owners, employees and all their families who put their heart and soul into their eateries.
The tickets for the 2021 Restaurant Drive were released per region with the final tickets for the Western Cape & Garden Route going on sale on the 26th May at 12:00 noon. The response was wonderfully overwhelming with 1500 tickets being sold in an astounding 16 minutes 26 seconds!
What was the deal?
Ticket purchasers spent R700 and received a R600 ticket to spend at a participating restaurant of their choice, six bottles of Jordan wines, two cans of Southfields Hard Seltzer and a wine tasting voucher for Jordan Wine Estate! Jordan will also be donating a portion of the ticket sales to charities that continue to do so much for our industry.
A special thanks as well to Quicket, Southfields, Butcher Shop & Grill and Den Anker for their contribution towards the Drive.
If you managed to purchase a ticket, thank you so much for helping restaurants through the upcoming winter season. Remember that your restaurant ticket is valid from the 1st June 2021 until the 31st August 2021 only and can be downloaded from your Quicket account.
