The Craft Beer Drought in the Square is Over

image002For years local Sandtonites and thirsty visitors to Sandton Square have been pining for the thirst quenching properties of a craft beer on tap, and now thanks to the brother-in-law duo from Pappas on the Square, Charles and Evros, Darling Craft Beer on the tap will be served to patrons.

Pappas will be serving Darling Slow Beer from December as part of Pappas’ niche offering to patrons. “In recent years the popularity of craft beers has reached cult status in South Africa and today has escalated from a novelty at selected festivals to being served in up-market restaurants all over the country,” says Charles de Olim from Pappas restaurant.

The Slow Beer is the perfect choice for a launch during summer, due to its thirst quenching qualities. Best enjoyed with Pappas meze platter on those long summer days, the easy drinking Slow Beer is traditionally brewed with no additives or preservatives. The beer is refreshing with a real hops flavour and rounding off with a mild bitterness.
