What is included in The Pot Luck Club at The Peech Restaurant Week experience?

Something rather tasty is coming to Joburg, and The Pot Luck Club at The Peech is bringing seven courses to the Restaurant Week table.

From 25 September to 1 November 2026, more than 200 restaurants across South Africa will be serving exclusive Restaurant Week menus, with national two-course lunches from R195 and three-course dinners from R295.

The experience begins with a Restaurant Week exclusive, a complimentary glass of bubbles or cocktail on arrival, before the courses start making their way to the table.

The menu opens with the Salty section, featuring Taco 2.0, with linefish ceviche, black bean purée, charred corn salsa, avocado and chipotle dressing, followed by Sashimi with fermented pineapple and coconut dressing, cucumber and pineapple salsa, lime jellies and puffed rice noodles.

The Sweet and Sour section brings Crispy Squid, with caramel glaze, herb salad, vermicelli noodles and nuoc cham, alongside Pot Luck Club Fish Sliders, made with hake, mojo dressing and miso mayo.

For the Fusion course, diners can choose between Szechuan Fried Chicken, featuring a salt and pepper crust, smashed cucumber salad and tofu and miso emulsion, or Lamb Shank, an Asian-style braised lamb shank with master stock and bread dumplings.

The Umami course brings Smoked Beef Fillet with black pepper and truffle café au lait, alongside Chickpea, Goat’s Cheese & Parmesan Fries with truffle aioli and smoked ketchup.

Dessert takes the menu into its Sweet finale. The Peanut Butter Bomb combines banana mousse, honeycomb crunch, banana tuile and Frangelico sabayon, while the Raspberry Sorbet comes with mascarpone and goat’s cheese mousse, toasted pumpkin seed brittle and macerated raspberries.

The full experience is designed for sharing, with a minimum of two guests at R925 per person, making the minimum cost R1,850 for two. Pescatarian and vegetarian menus are available, while vegan and allium-free menus cannot be accommodated.

Optional pairings are also available, with a Wine Pairing at R790 per person or a 0% Cocktail Pairing at R475 per person.

The Pot Luck Club at The Peech brings Luke Dale Roberts’ globally inspired dining concept to Melrose, with small plates designed to be shared and discovered around the table. The Johannesburg restaurant operates from The Peech Hotel and combines the Pot Luck Club’s signature approach with dishes created for the local dining scene.

The Restaurant Week experience is available for Saturday and Sunday lunch, while the broader Signature 7-Course Pot Luck Club Experience is also listed as available for dinner from Monday to Saturday. For this Restaurant Week offer, guests should book through https://restaurantweek.co.za.
