Billed as South Africa’s most popular outdoor social sporting event, the J&B Met at the Kenilworth Race Course will be held for the 37th time this year on Saturday, the 1st of February 2014. Several packages are available from general access, to the after-party as well as VIP tickets. You will find all the information below.
J&B Met Packages
General access tickets can be purchased via Computicket or at the reception office at the Kenilworth Race Course for R195 per person. These tickets will allow you general access to the venue and stalls.
The After Party ticket is available for R150 per person. Here you will get access to the official after party hosted by several 5FM DJs. These tickets are also available via Computicket. The games open at 7pm and ends around mid-night. Shuttle busses are on stand-by to drive you back to your car at the Youngsfield or Chukker Road parking areas.
The J&B Lifestyle Village tickets are available for R495 per person. These tickets include access to stylish outdoor lounge seating and the best in live entertainment, a free spa, as well as free cocktails, gourmet food stalls. The gates open at 11 am and close around midnight.
The Jet Lounge tickets in the J&B Lifestyle Village include all the perks of the “Lifestyle tickts” but you will have exclusive access to a private area in the Lifestyle Village, private seating areas, plasma screens with a live feed, food vouchers and a dedicated bar service. These tickets are available for R1,140 per person.
The hard-core horse-racing enthusiast can purchase the Fire, Steam and Ice tickets for R2,508. These include VIP parking and shuttle service, access to the Fire, Steam and Ice enclosure with free drinks and prime vantage points of the track.
