Grande Roche Hotel and Rovos Rail offer travellers a Winelands connection

Two leading luxury brands in the travel industry have once again joined forces to offer their guests an improved and exceptional service.

Grande Roche Hotel and Rovos Rail are delighted to announce that they have renewed their longstanding relationship and will once again be offering guests the opportunity to embark and disembark from Rovos Rail at the Dal-Josafat Station in Paarl.

The spectacular five-star Grande Roche Hotel is situated at the foot of the magnificent Paarl Rock Mountain in the bustling country village of Paarl – a short ten minute drive from the Dal-Josafat Station. Grande Roche Hotel will arrange a professional meet and greet service at the station, which will include handtowels, waters, a porter service and complimentary transfers to and from the station.

“The mutually beneficial partnership between Rovos Rail and Grande Roche Hotel is one that was established many years ago and it is with great pleasure and pride that we are reviving this relationship.” says Anja Bosken, General Manager of Grande Roche Hotel. “Both our organisations represent an era in travel that is not often found in our high paced and modern world. Guests being able to embark and disembark again from the Dal-Josafat station adds yet another dimension of ease and comfort for our guests.”

“Rovos Rail and Grand Roche have a long history together.” says Joy Strydom, Sales Manager (Cape Town) of Rovos Rail. “In the past, Rovos Rail passengers staying at Grand Roche Hotel could embark or disembark in Paarl and then transfer directly to the hotel. This convenient service is once again being offered to Grande Roche Hotel guests, cutting down on their transfer times and giving them more time to spend in the Winelands.”

The renewed service will be operational immediately.
