Join Ernst Gouws & Co. at Headquarters (HQ) on Saturday, 29 June 2013 for an evening devoted to sublime cuisine paired with superlative wines: Cellar Dwellers at HQ.
Come the date of the event, we’ll be in the grip of the winter season. Shake off the chill with an indulgent night at the iconic steakhouse and bar located in Cape Town’s historic Heritage Square. The interior is sophisticated and moody with exposed stone walls and leather seating; it’s the perfect atmosphere for drinking wine—and on the night expect to feel as if you’ve stumbled upon an urban wine cellar.
Stellenbosch wine estate, Ernst Gouws & Co will host the evening and lead a tasting through their range of wines, which includes a Merlot, Shiraz, and Pinot Noir as well as a selection of whites. The estate is family-owned and run; and it produces ‘premium wines in an environmentally sensitive and ethically responsible manner’. The wine-tasting will be partnered with a three-course meal for R250; expect HQ’s famous sirloin and thin-cut fries as the main feature.
