Rent your own private picnic pod, on the lawns with breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch Kloof Valley and enjoy a picnic basket for two people filled to the brim with delectable treats from The Bakery at Jordan.
The picnic basket is R430.00 and contains enough food for two people, including a bottle of Jordan spring water.
Your basket will include our freshly baked, wood-fired vegetable focaccia and Cape seed loaf to be enjoyed with a selection of charcuterie, including Italian Coppa, South African biltong, salami Napoli and locally produced hard and soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie, Stanford and Boerenkaas.
This will be accompanied by estate-grown Jordan olives and homemade Thai chicken pâté, a garlic aioli, beetroot and orange chutney, a salmon parfait, and a compound butter. You will also receive a gourmet vegetable quiche and sumptuous Mediterranean vegetable salad to share. Finish your meal on a sweet note with the Chef’s patisserie of the day.

Their basket will include a petit beef sausage rolls, a mini margarita pizza, a packet of crisps, and a juice box. Then satisfy their sweet tooth with a giant cookie! They can enjoy their own basket, while running on the lawns and playing with their bubbles, which are included as a gift in the basket. Purchase this kiddies basket, during the booking process.

Chef Thys Esterhuysen has outdone himself with three new mocktails inspired by the fresh produce from the estate. The “Perfect Pear” mocktail is made with organic Jordan grown rosemary, Terra Madre pear juice and sparkling water, the “Lemon Cooler” is a delicious combination of cucumber, mint, fresh lemon and soda water, or the “Toffee Apple” mocktail, a fusion of homemade cinnamon caramel, Terra Madre apple juice and ginger ale. These can be purchased on the day when baskets are collected.
To adhere to government regulations, no on-consumption alcohol sales are permitted. No BYO allowed.
