Elgin Vintners Wine Makeover

Elgin Vintners bottles got a makeover!

Everyone could use a refreshed look now and again, and it’s no different with wine. Elgin Vintners have given their range a packaging update, rolled out over the last few months as new vintages have been released.

All of the Elgin Vintners bottles are now closed with wax, to lift their presentation as premium wines, except for the more youthful Sauvignon Blanc under screwcap.

“The updated look is more nip and tuck than a facelift – we wanted to clean up the brand elements, create a more elegant look in line with the premium quality of our wines, and tell the story of our special cool climate location,” – Elgin Vintners winemaker and business manager Dr Marinda Kruger said.

The new-look labels depict Elgin Vintners’ location in the mountainous Elgin Valley, with hand-drawn illustrations of the classic views of mountains, vineyards and orchards, the Palmiet River running through the vineyards, the barrel cellar and beloved basket press, and the historic Oude Brug, the first bridge built over the Palmiet River in 1811.
