After a hugely successful time at the V&A Market, Crumbs & Cream has now opened its store in Sea Point adding to the ice-cream sandwich trend that is hitting Cape Town.
First you get to choose two cookies with options ranging from Oreo, Chocolate Chip, Rainbow and Red Velvet and many more. Banting cookies are available as well for the more health concious. The next choice is a little more tricky as you can only pick one ice-cream flavour. Will it be Caramel or Snickers? You can always come back to try Ferrero Roche and the Strawberry Cheese Cake flavour on your second visit. Smarties, sprinkles and other sweet delights can be added to your gourmet ice-cream creation if you like.Ā You don’t have to overdose on sugar though. As I’ve said before, there are banting cookies on offer, with sugar-free ice cream also an option.
Kids will love this store. It’s a very happy place with vibrant colours and friendly staff. All guests are also highly involved in making their sandwich from start to finish. Picking yourĀ most-loved cookies and choosing which ice-cream and toppings is really good fun. I can see people coming back for more again and again.
