Stir Crazy Cooking – The Cooking for a Cause event in partnership with Food Lover’s Market
The Cooking for a Cause Event is open to anyone who would like to help feed local communities and assist charity organisations in need. And at the same time learn some great recipes!
Once a month, Stir Crazy run a cooking class where participants learn to make and create 4 – 5 recipes presented by professional Stir Crazy Cooking Chefs. All the food you make gets packed up, boxed and donated.
Participants meet at Stir Crazy Cooking Theatre and make use of all the facilities and equipment to prepare their recipe under the guidance of our chefs. It’s a win-win for you (who learns how to make the recipe) and of course the recipient of the delicious meal you’re making.
- Cost per person for the cooking class event is R200pp.
- All ingredients are sponsored by Food Lovers’ Market and Earth Lovers.
All the meals prepared are donated to and collected by SA Harvest who distributes all the food to local charities and communities in need.
