Set among the vineyards of Signal Gun Wines in Durbanville, Wilde Vy is inviting families to slow down and celebrate Dad with a thoughtfully crafted three-course menu that showcases the restaurant’s signature blend of countryside comfort and refined African-inspired cuisine.
Guests will be welcomed with ciabatta rolls, herb butter, and a welcome drink on arrival before choosing from a selection of starters, mains, and desserts.
- Starter options include everything from herb arancini with tarragon mayo and sundried tomato pesto to crispy chicken with Cape Malay mayo, while seafood lovers can opt for snoek cruller or WV cured fish with tiger’s milk and curry leaf.
- For the main course, diners can choose between dishes such as slow roasted lamb rib roll with caponata and aubergine chutney, deboned pork neck roll with butternut purée and charcuterie sauce, pan-fried linefish with lemongrass pea velouté and mussels, or a vegetarian lemon and ricotta ravioli with smoked macadamia and Jerusalem artichoke.
- Dessert brings a sweet finish with a choice of apple terrine with vanilla ice cream or the ever-tempting chocolate nemesis cake with crème fraîche and berry sorbet.
