This Mother’s Day, Radisson RED Cape Town is skipping the predictable lunch reservation and offering something a little more creative instead.
On 10 May, Paint and Pretzels will be hosting a Mother’s Day Sip, Paint & Brunch experience at Local @ RED Roof at the Radisson RED V&A Waterfront, combining painting, rooftop views, brunch snacks, and a relaxed social atmosphere into one colourful morning out.
Running from 10:30 to 12:30, the experience is designed for moms, daughters, grans, friends, and anyone who enjoys the idea of swapping formal celebrations for something a little more playful.
- Guests will be guided through a step-by-step painting session while sipping on a welcome drink and settling into the laid-back rooftop setting overlooking Cape Town’s waterfront surroundings.
At R600 per person, the event includes all painting materials, a facilitator, snack plate, dessert, and pretzels. The brunch menu also leans into creative comfort food, featuring everything from pecorino croquettes and corn flatbread to vegan sliders, curd fish, quiche, and smoked vegan cheese. Dessert wraps things up with pumpkin tart, fritter, and lemon sorbet.
The atmosphere feels intentionally relaxed rather than overly polished, which is exactly the point. It is less about perfect brush strokes and more about spending quality time together while doing something memorable.
