Blue Plate Specials at Frankys Diner

Hamburgers, fries and shakes served up by our waitresses in poodle skirts and ponytails, Franky’s Diner couldn’t be more ’50s. With some hound-dog music in the background while our customers sit on red vinyl stools at the counter or snuggle up in a back booth. Franky’s Diner is a trip back in time to those a bygone era long gone but not forgotten!

They have recently updated their blue plate specials which are available every day of the week. This includes a a crumbed prawn and fries combo as well as a home-made chicken and mushroom pie both available for only R70. In addition, three delicious burgers make it onto the specials board with a double stack beef burger, and the double southern fried chicken burger. The legendary Franky’s Piggy Burger (R128) includes two bacon patties and topped with cheddar and even more bacon as well as a smothering of cheese sauce that includes even more bacon bits.
