What is happening at COPA Restaurant for Restaurant Week?

Cape Town gets the four-course treatment at COPA Restaurant, where Restaurant Week South Africa 2026 brings a special Taste of Cape Town 4-Course Dinner to the Pepperclub Hotel for R445 per person.

From 25 September to 1 November 2026, more than 200 of South Africa’s most exciting restaurants will be serving exclusive Restaurant Week menus.

Available for dinner only, the menu takes diners on a Cape-inspired journey through four themes: The Coast, The Cape, The Winelands and The Heritage. It is a neat culinary tour of the province without requiring anyone to pack a suitcase.

The first course, The Coast, features Smoked Snoek Pâté with homemade apricot chutney, pickled cucumber and the chef’s bread of the day.

The Cape offers a choice between Bobotie Fritter, served with dhania and date chutney, sun-dried tomato and onion crisp and micro salad, or the vegetarian Spinach & Chickpea Chilli Fritter, accompanied by the same chutney, crisp and salad.

The third course, The Winelands, offers another choice. Peppered Kudu Loin comes with Cape Ruby Port reduction, Rooibos-poached pear, sautéed green beans, herbed potato purée and Karoo herbs. The vegetarian alternative is Crispy Potato & Leek Terrine, served with forest wild mushroom fricassee, pickled grapes, Rooibos-poached golden beets, candied walnuts and Cape herb oil.

The final course, The Heritage, brings the meal home with Milk Tart Parfait, paired with Meebos sablé, cinnamon, vanilla crème and Cape citrus.

Set within the 5-star Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town, COPA Restaurant combines contemporary dining with locally inspired flavours. Its modern menu is locally sourced and carefully crafted by Executive Chef Nigel Stemmet, while cream and copper tones, dazzling décor and ambient lighting create a sophisticated atmosphere.

For diners keen to explore Cape flavours in a single sitting, COPA’s Restaurant Week menu brings together snoek, bobotie-inspired flavours, kudu, Rooibos, Karoo herbs and milk tart in a four-course format. The result is a menu that gives traditional South African ingredients a contemporary restaurant setting. The deal is valid until 1 November 2026, and guests should indicate their dietary preferences on the reservation form. Book your table now!
