3 Course Set Menu Special including Wine at Clos Malverne

Clos Malverne is inviting winter diners to settle in for a three-course food and wine pairing that takes the hard work out of choosing well.

Priced at R950 per person, the curated experience pairs each dish with a Clos Malverne wine, creating a relaxed Stellenbosch outing built around seasonal flavours, thoughtful combinations, and just enough indulgence to make winter feel useful.

What’s on the menu?

  • For starters, guests can choose between Tempura Hake with masala curry cream, pickled cucumber, radish and pesto oil, paired with Clos Malverne Sauvignon Blanc; Beef Carpaccio with deep-fried capers, horseradish cream, wholegrain mustard, wild rocket and reduced balsamic cream, paired with Cabernet/Merlot; or Spicy Pumpkin Soup with coconut cream, ginger and chilli.
  • Mains continue the comfort-meets-polish theme with Beef Fillet, sweet potato purée, baby carrots, potato galette, pickled beetroot and beef jus, paired with Clos Malverne Pinotage Reserve. Other options include Line Fish of the Day with herbed gnocchi and lemon butter, paired with Sauvignon Blanc, or Cauliflower Steak with harissa, tenderstem broccoli, beetroot, dried baby tomatoes and hummus, paired with Chardonnay.
  • Dessert is where restraint may politely leave the table. Guests can choose Baked Dark Chocolate Cheesecake with salted caramel and berry coulis, paired with Le Café Pinotage, or Sticky Toffee Pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, paired with Clos Malverne Honeydew.
