126 Cape Kitchen & Café

The culinary team at 126 Cape Kitchen & Café  invite you to join them for a fun dining experience.

While guests are walking distance to several Bo-Kaap food stops, the hotel is destined to be a hub for quality Halaal dining within the community.

Its 126 Cape Kitchen & Café, situated just off the lobby on the hotel’s ground floor, is headed up by chef Keith Frisley, who returns back to his Capetonian roots after a successful career in hospitality, most recently the renowned Westcliff, Four Seasons in Joburg.

Executive Chef, Keith Frisley, who discovered his passion for food while working his way through the ranks. He has not only worked alongside Michelin-star chefs but also competed internationally as part of South Africa’s national chef team. Keith says he’s thrilled to be back in the Cape after decades in Johannesburg where he’s helmed a variety of hotel kitchens. Born in Wolseley, he says the menus he’s developed for the Hyatt Regency are inspired by the home cooking of his childhood – many of his recipes are a contemporary reimagining of traditional dishes remembered from the family meals he grew up with.
