This winter, Mint Restaurant & Wood-Fired Grill at Taj Cape Town is inviting diners on a flavour-filled journey through Italy with its specially curated Winter Culinary Journey to Italy experience.
Available throughout June, the four-course menu celebrates the warmth, comfort, and elegance of Italian cuisine, offering guests a chance to explore classic flavours reimagined with Mint’s signature attention to detail.
Priced at R595 per person, the experience is available daily from 12:00 to 22:30, making it equally suited to a relaxed lunch, an intimate dinner, or a special occasion in the heart of the city.
- The experience begins with a comforting Minestrone Genovese paired with Heirloom Tomato & Olive Crostini, accompanied by herb focaccia and olive tapenade. It is the kind of opening course that immediately sets the tone for a leisurely Italian-inspired meal.
- For the main course, guests can choose between three distinctive dishes. The Pesto Rosso Lamb Chops are served with charred baby carrots, broccoli, pumpkin and Tuscan kale mash finished with rosemary jus. Those craving a comforting classic can opt for Chicken Parmigiana, while vegetarians can enjoy Truffle-Scented Ravioli with mushroom ragù, parmesan crisps, and seasonal vegetables.
- To conclude the experience, diners are treated to a Flourless Almond Chocolate Torte, complemented by biscotti crisps and orange mascarpone for a rich yet refined finish.
