Winter in the Tulbagh Valley is about to get a whole lot louder.
The Bike Forge has officially announced that South African rock favourites Akkedis will be joining the lineup for the 10th Annual Winterland Music Festival, taking place on Saturday, 27 June 2026.
Known for their energetic performances and unmistakable sound, Akkedis is set to bring plenty of rock-and-roll spirit to a festival that has become a much-loved part of the region’s winter calendar.
- Guests can look forward to an afternoon filled with live music, good food, and a relaxed festival atmosphere surrounded by fellow music lovers. The event forms part of the broader Tulbagh Christmas in Winter celebrations, adding even more festive energy to an already exciting weekend in the valley. Best of all, entry is completely free, making it an easy excuse to gather friends and family for a day out.
Gates open at 09:00, with live music running from 12:00 to 18:00. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy pub-style favourites and refreshments while soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the entertainment. With live performances, winter festivities, and one of South Africa’s favourite bands joining the programme, The Bike Forge is shaping up to be one of the standout stops on the Christmas in Winter calendar.
