This not-to-be-missed event takes place on Saturday, 4 February 2017 which is also World Cancer Day, an important day where cancer awareness is recognised across the globe. The Pink Table Project is sponsored by Zomato, online and mobile the leading restaurant guide application, and where better to take part than at Shimmy Beach Club.

This year, one of the key messages of World Cancer Day is that a healthier lifestyle choice can help to reduce your risk of cancer. This comes after research from the World Health Organisation revealed that up to 40% of cancers can be prevented with proper wellness management. Following the running theme of #IFoundHealthy, you can expect to enjoy only the tastiest and healthiest of Executive Chef Adrian Cook’s summer menu, notable for its traditional, bold Mediterranean influences. The menu offers great South African meals, with many carb-conscious, vegan and gluten-free options proving to palates that healthy certainly doesn’t mean boring. Of course, what is a great meal without a fine bottle of wine? You can look forward to some incredible wine from Bloemendal to bring it all together.

The cost to book is R150* per person, with all proceeds going toward breast cancer awareness and research. Leave it up to Shimmy Beach Club to dress your table to the nines – ensuring that it’s pink enough for the Pink Table Project.
