The Wine Library at Culture Wine Bar will host the upcoming gala and auction dinner on 24 March 2022.
Culture Wine Bar is the official venue partner for SASA and the perfect location to auction some fine wines from some of the top wine producers in South Africa, thanks to Premium Independent Wineries of South Africa (PIWOSA) and other generous contributors.

- Glenelly Estate Reserve Red Methuselah (6L)
- Jordan Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 Magnum and Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2016 Magnum
- Radford Dale Platter’s Five-stars Freedom Pinot Noir 2020 and Black Rock 2019, two cases
- Ken Forrester Old Vine Reserve 2007, a case
- Ao Yun 2014 second vintage of this iconic Chinese wine

The gala event will be a crowd-pleaser, bringing together top chef, Matt Manning, presenting a three-course wine pairing dinner with each course paired with a wine selected by different top sommeliers. Guests will participate in an exciting live auction of some incredible wines between courses. Attendees will enjoy every bite and sip, knowing that 100% of proceeds go directly to helping SASA facilitate its mandate to certify potential sommeliers and coordinate competitions.
PIWOSA is one of SASA’s dedicated partners, and they have generously donated the wines from each of their members, including De Grendel, The Drift Estate, Glenelly Estate, Jordan, Journey’s End, Ken Forrester, Klein Constantia, Paul Clüver, Raats Family Wines, Radford Dale, and Springfield Estate.
