New Years Eve Celebrations At Benguela Cove

Live music, gourmet food and delicious wine.

The scene is set for a night at the opera, with fine dining and beautiful music to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Guests will receive a glass of Joie De Vivre Benguela Cove’s award-winning Cap Classique and canapés upon arrival, followed by a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Annie Badenhorst to bring in the new year in style.

The celebrations will be at R1200 per person.

What’s on the Menu?

Canapés 

  • Squid ink sago chip, beetroot cured salmon tartar, cucumber and fennel
  • Deep-fried oyster, horseradish foam
  • Rosemary and lemon marinated prawns

Starter 

  • Charred sweet corn velouté, mushrooms, turmeric pickled onions, chicken ballotine, crispy pancetta and basil oil 

Main Course 

  • Braised pork belly, pork puff, caper and chive cream, sunflower pesto, baby marrow and smoked onion jus 

Dessert 

  • Litchi sorbet, raspberry parfait, raspberry gel, semi-dried grapefruit microsponge, white chocolate crème Fraiche and raspberry powder
