Welcome to Meloncino – the V & A Waterfront’s stylish restaurant for food and wine lovers alike. With three chefs imported from Italy, you can experience genuine Italian cuisine on your doorstep. Expect home-made pasta with authentic Italian sauces, steaks and seafood from the charcoal grill, traditional wood-fired pizza and an extensive menu to choose from. In order to stay faithful to the original, various ingredients, such as cheese, coffee and wine are imported from Italy.
Enjoy your favourite cocktail or sip on a glass of chilled Pinot Grigio while you watch the sun set behind Table Mountain. Then choose from a variety of mouth-watering pastas, wood-fired pizzas and various other authentic dishes while you get ready to indulge in the best Italian cuisine in town.
Meloncino offers the ideal location for private functions, birthdays and any other celebration. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s suitable for all seasons. There is a large, central island-style bar which serves cocktails and various sections of the restaurant can be sectioned off for a private feel. Large and small group bookings are welcome.
