Love, Served in Five Courses at Cavalli Estate

Valentine’s Day at Cavalli is designed for couples who believe romance is best expressed through good food, thoughtful details, and time well spent together.

This February, Cavalli invites guests to celebrate love with a carefully crafted five-course Valentine’s Day menu for R1200 pp, available in both regular and vegetarian options.

Each course is composed to flow naturally into the next, creating an evening that feels indulgent without being rushed.

  • The experience begins with warm milk bread and curry butter, followed by fresh, vibrant flavours such as tomato with nectarine and sea vegetables. From there, the menu builds in depth and richness. Diners can expect elegant dishes like tuna and langoustine tartare with piperade vinaigrette, or a vegetarian take featuring cucumber and pepper tartare. The main courses bring comfort and refinement together, with options including lamb paired with wild garlic and mushroom pavé, or eggplant and king oyster mushroom with celeriac and mushroom pavé. Dessert continues the story with brioche, caramelised Dalewood brie and sherry caramel, before ending on a sweet high note of burnt honey, bee pollen, lemon curd, yuzu, and white chocolate bonbons. Set against Cavalli’s serene surroundings and understated luxury, the Valentine’s menu offers more than just dinner. It’s an invitation to slow down, connect, and celebrate love in a way that feels effortless and memorable.
