Winter has a way of encouraging people to slow down, stay a little longer, and appreciate the simple pleasures of good food, good wine, and good company.
At Klein Alto, those pleasures come together in the form of Fireside Fridays, a seasonal dining experience designed to make the most of the colder months.
Set against the charm of the estate, Fireside Fridays offer guests the opportunity to unwind beside a central fireplace or settle into the welcoming atmosphere of the Atrium.
- The experience combines comforting seasonal cuisine, exceptional red wines, and live instrumental performances from talented local musicians, creating an evening that feels both relaxed and refined.
A specially curated limited menu has been crafted specifically for the season, focusing on dishes that pair beautifully with Klein Alto’s wines and the cosy ambience of a winter evening. Rather than rushing through dinner, guests are encouraged to savour each course, enjoy another glass of red, and let the music set the pace for the night.
The setting itself adds to the appeal. Warm lighting, elegant interiors, and an inviting atmosphere make it easy to forget the cold outside while enjoying an evening centred around flavour, conversation, and hospitality.
Whether gathering with friends, planning a date night, or simply looking for an excuse to escape the weekly routine, Fireside Fridays offer a welcome reminder that winter dining can be every bit as memorable as summer outings.
Guests can still enjoy the event on 27 June, after which Fireside Fridays will take a short winter break from 1 July to 16 July, returning from 18 July onwards.
Bookings are limited and essential. Seating is available in both the Atrium and restaurant spaces, with bookings accepted from 17:30 to 19:00 and final food orders at 19:45. Reservations can be made via Dineplan through the Klein Alto website. This winter, Klein Alto is proving that some of the best evenings are the ones spent beside a fire, glass in hand, with nowhere else to be.
