For one evening only, Jordan Restaurant is bringing wine, food, and storytelling together in a way that feels both relaxed and carefully considered.
On Friday, 8 May 2026 at 18:30, guests are invited to a Winemaker’s Dinner hosted by Gary Jordan and Sjaak Nelson of Jordan Wine Estate, alongside Chef Marthinus Ferreira.
The focus is simple: good wine, bold food, and a table meant for sharing.
- Throughout the evening, a selection of the estate’s favourite wines will be poured, with each one introduced by the people behind it. It’s not just about tasting notes, but the stories and thinking that shape each bottle.
Chef Marthinus Ferreira’s menu is designed to match that energy. Known for his flavour-driven approach, he leans into dishes that are confident without being complicated. Served sharing-style, the meal encourages a more social kind of dining, where plates move around the table and conversation follows naturally.
At R1250 per person, the experience includes the full paired menu and wines. Additional drinks, gratuity, and the conservation levy are excluded.
Set against the backdrop of the Stellenbosch vineyards, the evening offers something more than a standard dinner. It’s structured, but not stiff. Informative, but still easygoing.
