Treat Dad to a Legacy of Flavor at a Wine & Dine Celebration at Verdicchio with Diemersdal Wines
Because socks are great, but wine is better.
This year, skip the tired tie-and-mug combo and give Dad something he actually wants: wine, food, and a proper excuse to loosen his belt.
On Father’s Day – 15 June 2025, Verdicchio Restaurant and Wine Cellar is turning up the charm with a Sunday Takeover by Diemersdal Wine Estate – and trust us, it’s the kind of Sunday session dads dream about.
For just R395 per person, guests are treated to a 4-wine tasting paired with a decadent 3-course menu that screams “Dad deserves this.” It’s happening from 12:00 till late, because why rush something this good?
Who’s pouring the wine? None other than Diemersdal, one of the grand old names of South African winemaking. With over 300 years of heritage and six generations of Louw family expertise, their wines don’t just tell a story – they sing it. Grown on the cool slopes of Durbanville’s Drostberg, Diemersdal’s range is all about character, climate, and class in a glass.
What to expect? Flavour-packed plates, bold wines, warm ambiance, and maybe even a few dad jokes thrown in for good measure. It’s a laid-back luxe affair where food and wine do the talking – and Dad gets to sit back, relax, and bask in all the glory.
🍽 4 Wines. 3 Courses. 1 Happy Dad. Whether your dad’s a cab-sav connoisseur or just happy with something red in a glass, this is the ultimate way to say, “Thanks for everything – and here’s a refill.” Seats are limited, so don’t wait to book. Raise a glass to good food, great wine, and the guy who taught you how to change a tire.
