Magusto Chestnut Festival 2017

The Annual Portuguese Chestnut Festival is back!

In Portugal, there is a big food culture around chestnuts. There is nothing better than enjoying delicious chestnuts cooked on a brazier in the street and served in a newspaper cone. In some regions of Portugal, they are also added to stews. You can explore this tradition as well when joining SilvaSale Wanderers Club on the 25th and 26th of November.

This year’s annual Chestnut and Portuguese Festival was developed from a deep need to have a sharing, talking, laughing and creative space where foodies, families and youth gather. The chestnut celebration is a worlds appreciation to these amazing nuts!

What to expect!

• Sueca Tournament!
• Assorted food, entertainment, games and artisanal home stalls.

Entrance is free; you are all invited.
