HQ and Dare to Share would like to cordially invite you to their Annual Charity Dinner.
On 8 August at 7pm, Cape Town restaurant HQ and charity organisation Dare to Share, will be hosting their 6th annual charity dinner with the aim of raising a substantial amount for a variety of identified organisations, all while allowing the who’s who of the Cape Town scene to dress up and really show up in support, with a 3-course food-and-wine-pairing.
Dare to Share was a not a planned charity. It was when Marc Buhrer decided to rather help those less fortunate and give back, than have a celebratory party for his birthday, that Dare to Share was born. Since inception in 2012, HQ’s Dare to Share, have fed over 800 000 meals and currently supports 33 registered organisations in the Western Cape alone.
We truly try and give back to as many charities as possible, therefore our focus ranges from orphanages, shelters, centers for abused woman and children, animal shelters, children with terminal illnesses as well as trying to create solutions to reintegrate the homeless back into society in a responsible manner.” Says board member, Marc Bührer.
Dare to Share also currently support up to 59 families on a weekly basis supplying them with food, clothing and toiletries all made possible due to corporate and private donations. “Our current initiatives include The Dare to Share Food Fund, Dare to Share Blessing Bags, The Seasoned Saturday, Dare to Share Yummy Meals, and RAW images with Coffee Beings soon to be added to our fundraising campaigns” adds Bührer.
