Halloween Thrills & Chills at The Galileo Picnic

The Galileo Picnic is back to celebrate another traditional night of terror under the stars, with a creepy movie to boot, of course!

The team behind Cape Town’s outdoor cinema is up to their usual tricks (and treats) with scary décor, live performances and a ‘best costume’ competition.

On October 31st, Cape Town High School will mutate into the Mother City’s hottest Halloween affair, setting the scene with visually stunning backdrops of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head lit up by an eerie full moon. Pack a picnic or support the beloved food vendors on location who will be back in action, serving up the most amazing grub – from pizzas to nachos – to sink your teeth into.

Stealing the limelight this year is the captivating horror that refreshed its’ sinister genre: The Blair Witch Project.

With the film-making technique of “found footage”, the story follows three film students into a Maryland forest where they film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend. The project takes a frightening turn when the students lose their way.

Don’t miss out on all the fear and fright that The Galileo has in store for you this year! The Halloween special screening is R180 per person and includes backrest, blanket, popcorn, live performances & themed décor.

Tickets are limited due to covid regulations, so book yours today by visiting www.thegalileo.co.za.
