Cabernet Franc lovers are invited to Vrede en Lust Wine Farm for the 4th Cabernet Franc Carnival!
The Carnival has been taking place annually since 2017 and is attended by fans of this exiting varietal. With over 75 South African producers of single varietal Cab Francs, Vrede en Lust has signed up in excess of 20 wineries to showcase their products at this classy event.
The event will be hosted on Saturday 27 August 2022.
Guests will be able to taste around 30 different Cabernet Francs from various wine regions in South Africa, typifying specific characteristics of each region and providing the perfect Cab Franc for every palate.
Guests will receive a crystal wine glass and a R60 food voucher, which can be redeemed for some finger food or as part of their bill at the Lust restaurant at Vrede en Lust wine farm.
Light music and comfortable seating will be provided in the beautiful gardens of Vrede en Lust.
Should the weather turn foul, the event will be moved into the Vineyard Hall on the Estate and seating under a Bedouin Tent.
