The Hermanus restaurant, Moody Lagoon is set in the heart of the Benguela Cove winery complex. The restaurant is in an elevated setting with expansive views of the lagoon and the Atlantic ocean.

During the winter month, they are offering a fantastic set menu that is available for only R300. It includes dishes such as roasted pumpkin risotto, a Hake and bacon broth, beef short rib as well as a caramel panna cotta.

It’s available every day of the week and bookings are recommended.

Roasted pumpkin risotto, fennel and sage

“One pot wonder” Hake, bacon broth and braised coss lettuce

Beef short rib, carrot puree, gremolata, toasted almonds

Caramel panna cotta and homemade ginger bread

Please note that the menus change based on fresh seasonal produce and the best ingredients that the chefs can get. They can also accommodate most dietary requirements.
