Restaurant Week is back!

It’s the time of the year, where fine dining restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.

“Real Italian Food” as our logo implies means you will get to enjoy traditional dishes like home-made gnocchi and lasagne which are old favourites not forgetting the exciting new dishes that keep popping up to tantalise the taste buds.

Renowned for pizza, pasta, risotto and Italian grills, one must try our succulent lamb shank, veal dishes and grilled quail. For seafood lovers, juicy grilled prawns, calamari and mussels are also on offer amongst others. There are excellent, tasty vegetarian options too, so there is quite literally something for everyone, young and old, the whole family! The restaurant seating capacity for 50 inside and also 50 outside seating.

To top it all off try the home-made tiramisu made by our own Italian mamma. Round off with an espresso and a grappa or our home-made Limoncello

How to book?

This year, La Casa Nostra will be part of Restaurant Week (19 April – 6 May)again offering a lunch menu (2 courses) for only R250 per person or R350 for a 3 course dinner. Book your seats now using foodblogvip.

Calamari alla griglia or Fritte
Calamari tubes grilled with garlic, parsley and fresh lemon, or deep fried in a light batter

Funghi al forno
Mushroom Baked in the woodfire oven with a creamy garlic butter sauce and a touch of italian tomato
or
Fegatini di pollo
Chicken livers peri peri done the italian way with white wine, onion, tomato and chilli

Main

Fettuccine Scampi Pasta
fettuccine pasta with tomato, garlic, prawns, white wine and cream
or
Pollo alla Diavola
Baby chicken peri peri baked in the woodfire oven with our blend of spices and served with a choice of rice
or chips
Or
Rissotto con funghi
arborio rice with italian tomato, cream, prawns and white wine
