KZN Food Heroes star at The Oyster Box

On 23 July, The Oyster Box will host a KZN Food Heroes Dinner in the Pearl Room, to salute the artisan food produced in our province. Every item on the menu has been sourced from a local producer, who is a master at their craft and understands intimately, the raw materials with which they work.

KwaZulu-Natal is a treasure chest of amazing produce.  Sourcing fresh produce locally, in an ethical way for use in our kitchens, is first prize for the Chefs at The Oyster Box. The closer to home the food is produced, the fresher it is, the less packaging is involved, the more sustainable it is for the producer and the better it is for our guests. A win-win all-round.  – KEVIN JOSEPH: Executive Chef, The Oyster Box

The five-course dinner starts at 18h30 for 19h00, with a welcome drink on arrival and includes a paired wine from Abingdon Wine Estate, with each course.  Cost is R475 per person and booking is essential.
