Dining at Tintswalo Atlantic

Renowned as one of Cape Town’s most precious hidden gems, Tintswalo Atlantic is a gourmet destination of note. Blessed with panoramic views of picturesque Hout Bay Harbour, dramatic Sentinel mountains peak, and the Atlantic Ocean beyond, the five-star boutique lodge is situated on a pebbled beach at the foot of Table Mountain National Park.

Its unique location presents the perfect setting to celebrate a special occasion where during summer, guests dine right on the water’s edge, breathing in the fresh sea air. In cooler weather, the beautifully appointed dining room with an open kitchen enables diners to enjoy an interactive dining experience overlooking the ocean, warmed by cosy fireplaces and renowned, friendly service.

The restaurant entered an exciting new culinary chapter with the appointment of Guy Clark as Executive Chef. Clark honed his skills in Franschhoek, India, Miami and California before joining Tintswalo in 2017. Sourcing local and sustainable ingredients is key to the cuisine that features fresh seafood and ethically sourced game and meat dishes. Special tasting menus include ‘Ocean & Ash’, as well as a Vegan option to offer a new perspective and a unique taste experience – with dishes that are simple yet sophisticated, and beautifully presented.

The restaurant at Tintswalo Atlantic invites bookings from non-resident guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily (subject to availability).
